The simplicity of colours.

Hey Fashionistas,

So we took out the camera, FINALLY, and thought we would play around with some shots, just to get the gist of what we are hoping the outcomes will be in the near future...

We aren't expecting it to be a major success.. yet.
But we are hoping that with the knowledge we are constantly grasping we can get to the stage of actually have photos that show our style of fashion and the clothes we want- have...

The simplicity of colour is what we were aiming for:
A simple block dress, with red lipstick, and brown heels.

This is fashion that is simple, no fads, no expenses, and no over-the-top-try-hard-wanna-be-model fashion...

just simple us.. giving you photo's of our style..

Oh so boho

Keeping with the theme of boho, I had a party last night- Ice skating... As fun as it sounds.. Yes I stacked, it. But instead of going in something boring I decided to give myself a theme to dress as so a type of clothing style. I decided to go with boho/ indian princess from the Disney movie. What's her name... Pocahontas.

I have a cute jacket with tassels from cotton on it was on sale at BOWRAL for $10.00 ! BARGAIN

And with that I wore black jeans, and a black singlet top.. which you can find from any clothing retailer.
AND
My Bag from Valleygirl- last season stock-sale...
AND
I matched my make up with natural shades, of browns and tans, with brown eyeliner, and bronzer.!

boho bracelets

Finally! I have invested in some decent boho style bracelets...
I am always in the shops looking at all the styles but I never have the guts to buy myself any-or money.
But today I decided differently...

Most of these bracelets are from Diva or Equip.
Starting from the right:
Diva- Wooden Bracelet- Pack with the reds, and green(on right) $10.00
Equip- The Leather band with the Aqua next to it and all the gold bracelets $3.00
Light green was when I was a child...
Diamond bracelet- As a gift...

Although all these bracelets are so thick... Wearing them either to the beach- or chilling with your friends ..
Its an easy way to accessories... some people don't like it- but its a cute way of expressing yourself..
And if your a DIY girl.. you can make your own- which I will be doing soon

the little yellow jacket

WINTER WONDERLAND

I  Lay-byed this today, from Target. It is a beautiful mustard yellow, with three buckles and a 'fake' fur hoodie,  gorgeous if I was to ever travel to Europe... I must say with a gorgeous pair or dark jeans, and boots with a long sleeved top, and this jacket would make the perfect outfit for a cold winters day.

AND TO TOP IT OFF it was on SALE: from $69 down to $55, Bargain i'd say...
Anyway now I have to wait until next month so I can get it out....It will be worth it...

THE NEXT LEVEL

So, a few and a half posts ago we mentioned the waterfall braid, over the weeks I have been practicing on all my friends hair trying to do the perfect waterfall braid...

I attempted several waterfall braids-

One on my mothers hair, tied into a bun. This was quite difficult due to the fact mum couldn't sit still. I have come to the conclusion though that it is better whilst your doing it, to have someone hold all the strands that fall down, as it tightens the braid along the way.

- The other waterfall braid was in my own hair, and oh my gosh I loved it and so many people complemented me on how unusual and different it looks. Basically its two waterfall braids interlaced. I know what your thinking- How on earth do I do that! Patience is the key, and tightening.
As your slowly doing the first braid (the one higher), keep the strands between your pinky and thumb, whilst using your other fingers to braid... When doing the second row, only grab the pieces that were pulled through from the upper braid... If I was to do this on someone else, it wouldn't work - I BRAID OPPOSITE STYLES ON MY HAIR COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSES! -weird I know...

Anyway. This is the update on waterfall braiding- over the next few weeks different waterfall braids will be updated and posted
